Case Study: London House

Ster Uv London House, UVC Solutions

STER-UV™ Successfully Installs UV-C technology in Tier 1 building.

In February 2022, STER-UV™ had the opportunity to work with Hawaiian, the group who own and manage London House- a 17-story office tower located in the Perth CBD. The team at Hawaiian elected to trial STER-UV™ solutions in London House in high-contact areas within the building, with particular emphasis on the gymnasium.

Following a successful trial with STER-UV™ solutions, London House’s Facilities Manager, Jon Warren, was confident with the level of safety that UV-C light was able to provide their patrons, visitors and staff. He noted a particular benefit of UV-C is that it allows for continuous protection with little maintenance required, ensuring that both the air and the surfaces within the London House gymnasium are 99.9% free of pathogens 24/7. This gives the team peace of mind when it comes to the safety of tenants, visitors and staff, and most critically has allowed the London House gymnasium to remain open through the Covid-19 pandemic.

While STER-UV™ solutions provide a cleaner, safer environment for all patrons, it also provides a no-fuss and economical solution for property owners and facility managers. With only the replacement of the bulbs required, the STER-UV™ products require little to no maintenance. On top of this, UV-C light technology negates the need for extensive conventional disinfectant cleaning which is labour intensive and requires costly chemicals.

STER-UV™ prides itself on keeping people and indoor environments safe. Through the deployment of our UV-C light technologies, facilities like the London House gymnasium not only enjoy improved and safe air quality but are also protected from communicable disease exposure.
